What is the Microsoft® Partner Programme?

The Microsoft® Partner Programme is a value-added service from Microsoft, designed to help you get the most of out your business. As a member of the Microsoft Partner Programme, you can create new opportunities to drive sales and margin by accessing exclusive resources, including technical and licensing information, marketing materials, demos, and training.

Am I eligible to join?

Businesses who sell, service, support, or build solutions on the Microsoft platform, or sell Microsoft products and technologies are eligible to join the scheme. These include (but are not limited to):

  • Resellers
  • System integrators
  • System builders
  • Value-added resellers
  • Value-added providers

How does the programme work?

There are three levels of membership in the Microsoft Partner Programme:

  • Microsoft Registered Members
  • Microsoft Certified Partners
  • Microsoft Gold Certified Partners

Receive resources based on your level of membership that support all stages of your business cycle from business planning to customer retention. Resources vary by membership level and include marketing tools and services, Microsoft software licences, technical and sales support resources and comprehensive sales and technical skills training.

To qualify for the next level of membership, simply accrue Partner Points. You can earn Partner Points from your sales performance, for servicing, supporting and training your customers and participating in one or more Microsoft Competencies. For more information, click here.
